Abdulwahed Mahmoud Al-Awadhi was a member of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, representing the First District, and served in the Kuwaiti Air Force, fighting in Kuwait’s Liberation War in 1991. He was elected to the National Assembly in 2003, 2006, and 2008, and during his time in office held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Housing, Minister of Communications, and Acting Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, representing elected parliament members in the government.
He studied Aviation at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA).
Nader Abdulghaffar Al-Awadhi is a founding and senior partner at GLA & Company and the founding principal of Nader Al Awadhi Attorneys and Legal Consultants, with over 45 years of legal experience. He is highly respected in the Kuwaiti legal profession, with strong expertise in commercial and corporate litigation, representing leading Kuwaiti companies and institutions as well as several well-known international firms. He has also applied his knowledge of bankruptcy and insolvency law to commercial litigation involving distressed companies and restructuring, and provides legal consultancy to corporations.
He holds a law degree from Kuwait University and has completed training at several legal firms in the United States.
Najeeb Mohammed Al-Awadhi is a telecommunications professional with over 30 years of experience. He has held senior roles including CEO of stc Kuwait and General Manager of Future Communications Company International, where he played a key role in listing the company on the Kuwait Stock Exchange. He also served as Project Manager for the rollout, installation, and maintenance of the Middle East’s first 3G network, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He began his career as a Planning and Development Engineer at Kuwait Oil Company, managing telecommunications projects, and is a founding member of the MENA branch of Francorp Inc., a leading American business and commercial consultancy.
He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Talal Kamel Al-Awadhi is a co-founder of Viacomms Telecom and the CEO of Ottu, a fintech SaaS startup specializing in online payments. He is also the CEO of KUWAITNET, the leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions in Kuwait. Before joining KUWAITNET in 2007, he served as a strategic business manager, leading the enterprise sales team at Future Communications Company.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Business Administration from Kuwait University, and an MBA from London Business School.
Jolian Ibrahim is the Founder and CEO of Viacomms Telecom. He brings over 30 years of industry experience, having held senior executive roles including General Manager at Alghanim Industries Technology and Xerox Groups, Commercial Director at Alghanim Engineering, VP of Operations at Lotus Interworks, and Commercial Director at Gulfnet Communications (B. Online).
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Saint Louis University, a Master of Science in Information Technology and Systems Engineering from Regis University, and an MBA from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
